{ Princes’ island }

On the boat, I met a lady who came to prince island to meet her friend that she hasn’t seen for over 40 years. She has a bright happy personality and we had a great conversation like we were old friends. I am sure we can keep talking for hours if the boat ride was longer. She is from Barcelona.

There are couple options you can have to look around the island. Cars are forbidden. You can walk around, rent a bike, hire a house wagon. Of course, I rent a bike and hike up to the hills. There is a small old church and a cafe. Not many people were there and most of them were locals. The road was steep and it’s impossible to bike at that angle for an hour. But once you get up there, it’s amazing. I was all surrounded by sea with the view of couple islands.

It was fun to bike around without worrying cars run you over. Occasionally I look out for horses but you hear them coming.

I was on the boat ride when sunset is taking place. I love the later afternoon sun in Turkey. It looks so big and pretty.
